A Complete Introduction

what is padel ?

Padel is a fast, fun and social racket sport that combines the best parts of tennis and squash. Played in doubles on an enclosed court, the walls stay in play to create longer rallies, clever angles and constant action. Simple to learn and easy to enjoy, it is suitable for beginners, regular players and anyone looking for a new way to get active.

wHO?

Padel is for everyone - whether you're a beginner, looking for a fun way to stay active, or chasing a new challenge. It's a sport loved by celebrities too, with stars like David Beckham, Andy Murray and Lionel Messi, as well as Serena Williams, Cristiano Ronaldo and even the Kardashians. It's the sport everyone's talking about, and now it's right here, ready for you to play.

WHAT?

Padel is fast, fun, and addictive. Think of it as tennis meets squash, played on an enclosed court about a third the size of a tennis court. Every game is doubles, every point is action-packed, and the walls are part of the fun - creating longer rallies, clever angles, and non-stop excitement.

With solid rackets, slightly softer balls, and simple rules, padel is easy to pick up whether you've never held a racket before or you're already a tennis pro. It's social, energetic, and designed to be inclusive, making it perfect for anyone looking for a new way to get moving and have a blast on the court.

HOW?

Padel was born in Mexico in the 1960s when Enrique Corcuera created a game that blended skill, strategy, and social fun. From those first private garden courts, it quickly spread to Spain and beyond, capturing the hearts of players looking for something fast, exciting, and inclusive.

The beauty of padel is how welcoming it is — you don't need to be a pro or super fit to enjoy it. With simple rules, lively rallies, and a focus on fun and connection, it's a game that anyone can pick up and fall in love with.

At Court de Padel, our super panoramic courts bring this legacy to life, giving you the perfect space to play, connect, and experience the energy of the sport no matter your
